King James & The Verses
King James and the Verses is fronted by bassist/vocalist Jimmy V who just finished
doing four years on the road with the Kelly Richey band. Prior to his association with
Kelly Richey he performed for over 9 years with the Indiana band
Governor Davis and The Blues Ambassadors
Jimmy V has also played bass for other notables such as the legendary
Pinetop Perkins and Duke Tumatoe.
King James and The Verses deliver powerful electric blues in the vein of Buddy
Guy and Luther Allison. They've also been known to put the amps on stand-by
and deliver the blues acoustically.
